Ket Sal Abu urban system

The concept is inspired by street furniture in the early nineteentth century and the first attempts of standardization. We associate this period great generosity in the size and robustness of the parts, in addition to a genuine concern with comfort. We also associate a certain Romanticist idea on the theme of the lamp and the bench, later summoned by the operative nostalgia of architects like Lewerentz, Perret, Portaluppi, Pouillon or Tessenow. Aiming to respond to situations in which the relations of history strongly mark the place, the PROMONTORIO Urban Line subtly seeks to stylize this association between the type-form and its imaginary place.
